Take a look at the Humana Gold Plus HMO plan for Seniors

Humana Gold Plus® is a Medicare Advantage Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan with a wide range of coverage for seniors. Humana has contracted with Medicare to provide you with services that are not covered by your Medicare Part A and Part B benefits under original Medicare. Most Medicare Advantage Humana Gold Plus HMO Plans offer prescription drug coverage. With Gold Plus HMO Plans your out-of-pocket costs are reduced and more predictable than with the majority of other plans. You may enroll in Gold Plus HMO plan only during specific times of the year. You can compare this to Humana’s Gold Choice PFFs, Humana’s Part D Drug Plans, HumanaChoice PPO and Humana Enhanced PDP. Below is an example of one of the many plans offered by Humana.

  3. I called to place an order on 7-7-20 with one of the medications being Lantus Solostar and quoted a price of $30. FOR A 3 month supply that I order thru the mail. I called today to check the status of my order and was told the Lantus was cancelled. I called customer service to find out why and was told it was because of the co-payment of $218. i was asking what happened to the $30 co-pay and asked to speak to a manager who said the co-pay was $131 for the 3 month supply. She then transferred me to a manager who then informed me my c0-pay would be $618 because of the coverage gap! I was afraid to speak to anybody else fearing I would soon owe over a $1000 or more. Ileft HMSA last year hoping your company would be a better experience but so far i will start checking on another company. Can SOMEBODY with tour co. get the right information the first time or at least honor the prices you quote as I can see now you prefer a $200000 hospital bill as I will not pay your demands and stop taking this med and get sick and land in the hospital with this ENORMOUS bill instead of honoring what I was quoted. All I ask is too honor the price I was quoted.

  6. I broke my ankle about 2 years ago and my doctor who is an orthopedic surgeon did surgery on my ankle. I have had to see this doctor quite a bit since that time. Since I changed to Humana, I am now having to pay a co pay, which at age 83 and on limited income can be costly for me. Since he is my ortheopedic doctor taking care of my ankle, I feel there should be some exceptions regarding co pays since he is considered a specialist in humanns’ eyes.
